Artistic Career
Pablo Serrano is a versatile artist whose practice includes painting, illustration, music, video production, and stage design.
Throughout his career, he has explored diverse forms of expression, combining visual and sound elements to create
emotionally resonant and conceptually rich works.
2023–2025 – Music & Video Production
Completed his first album under the direction of producer Brian Trahan at Funkhaus, Berlin, where he was responsible for the composition, mixing, and mastering.
2021 – Music Production Grant
Awarded the Hier spielt die Musik production grant, Berlin.
2017 – Portraits
Created 22 portraits of the winners of the National Prize for Science and Arts, IPN University, Mexico City.
2013–2014 – Production and Visual Design
Developed the multimedia performance Alicuanta, presented at Le Gesù Theatre (Montreal, Canada) and at
Aluna Theatre’s International Festival of Performing Arts, Panamerican Routes Festival, Daniels Spectrum Theatre (Toronto, Canada).
2000–2015 – Book Illustration
Illustrated numerous children’s and young adult books for CIDCLI Publishing House, including Alas como cuchillos,
La Ilíada, Historia de la Malinche, Mi mano, El rey poeta, and Juego de dedos. Several of these works have received national and international awards
