Painting has been the central axis of my creative life, the medium through which I explore both the inner and outer worlds, giving them form on the canvas. Over the years, I have experimented with various techniques, though my practice has become firmly rooted in oil and acrylic painting.
I have worked in series, each conceived as a symbolic territory of exploration around matter, form, and the many ways visual representations manifest within my work.
Migrating to Europe in 2019 profoundly transformed my pictorial practice. Finding myself in a completely different environment, without the networks that once supported me in Mexico, led me to confront and rethink the very meaning of painting — its purpose, its place, and my relationship with it.
After completing a music album in 2025, painting returns with renewed strength. From that renewal emerges a series inspired by natural structures and cosmic elements: deep reds, golden surfaces, and a search for the essential. It marks the beginning of a new stage, one open to spaces where this work can grow, engage in dialogue, and expand.
